HomeschoolHQ is designed to work offline. The information you enter and create in the app is saved in your device's local storage and stays on your device. This includes:
We do not receive, store, or have any access to this information. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party. If you create a backup file or generate a report from within the app and choose to share or save it, that exported file is under your control and goes only where you send it. If you clear the app's data or uninstall the app, this on-device information is deleted.
HomeschoolHQ offers an optional paid subscription. When you start a free trial or purchase a subscription, the transaction is processed by Google Play Billing, and your subscription status is validated and managed through RevenueCat, Inc. This involves the collection of purchase history — for example, which subscription you selected, and trial, renewal, or cancellation events — associated with an anonymous identifier and your Google Play account.
We use this purchase information only to provide and manage your subscription: to confirm whether your subscription is active, to restore purchases you have made, and to reflect renewals and cancellations. This data is encrypted in transit. We do not receive your payment card or bank details — payment is handled entirely by Google.

We use the limited purchase information described above solely to operate the app's subscription features. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
We share purchase information only with Google and RevenueCat, who act as our service providers for processing payments and managing subscription status. We do not share your information with any other third parties. We do not have access to, and therefore do not share, the homeschool content stored on your device.
HomeschoolHQ is intended to help parents, guardians, and educators manage children's home education. The app includes a "kid mode" that a child may use under adult supervision.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Any content a child enters in the app — like reading-log notes or messages within the app — is stored locally on the device and is never transmitted to us. Subscriptions can only be purchased by the adult account holder through their own Google account; children do not make purchases. If you believe a child's information has been handled in a way that resulted in collection by us, please contact us at info@sozexports.com and we will take appropriate steps.
On-device information: you control it directly. You can delete it at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.
Purchase information held by RevenueCat: you may request deletion of your customer record by emailing us at info@sozexports.com. We will delete it through the RevenueCat dashboard. Records that Google retains for its own legal, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes are governed by Google's policies.
Information on your device is protected by your device's own security and by the PIN you set within the app. Purchase information exchanged with Google and RevenueCat is encrypted in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we limit risk by collecting as little information as possible.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (and the Australian Privacy Principles), the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation, and the California Consumer Privacy Act — including rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Because almost all of your information stays on your device under your control, most of these rights you can exercise yourself directly. The app is published from Australia. Where purchase information is processed by Google and RevenueCat, it may be handled on servers located in other countries, including the United States, in accordance with those providers' privacy practices.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version here. Significant changes will be reflected in the app's store listing as required.
